Apprentices

Shauna Cook:  Shauna’s favorite ballet is “Swan Lake” and loves dancing the role of a Swan.  She has danced for 13 years and attended Ballet Magnificat, BalletMet and Ballet Theatre of Toledo’s Summer Intensive Workshops.  Shauna would like to pursue a professional career in dance and start her own company someday.  She loves track and spending time with friends.

Caitlin Riley:  Caitlin has been dancing since the age of two and has participated in competitive gymnastics for 12 years. She is a member of her school's Dance Team and loves studying and competing across the country, in national conventions, in a variety of dance forms. Her favorite role was Clara in the "Nutcracker".

Joslyn Tijerina:  Joslyn has been dancing for 14 years and is fond of the ballet “Le Corsair”.  Dancing the Czardas and Mazurka in “Coppelia” was most memorable for her.  Joslyn has participated in summer workshops at Ballet Theatre of Toledo, Wayne Center for the Arts and studied with Dmitri Roudnev.  She participates in her school’s Marching Band as Field Commander, Concert Band, Yearbook Staff, National HonorSociety and is on the Alpha Honor Roll.

Emma Wolff:  Emma’s favorite ballet is the “Nutcracker” and her most cherished role, Clara.  She has been training for 7 years and attended summer intensive workshops with Soili Arvola, CPYB and Ballet Theatre of Toledo.  Emma hopes to someday teach ballet to children and to choreograph.  She is on Dance Team at her school.
