Trainees

Lauren Burns:  Lauren has been dancing for 9 years and recently participated in Ballet Theatre of Toledo’s Summer Intensive.  In addition to dancing with BTT, she also dances and competes with Company C.  In her spare time, Lauren enjoys crafts projects and scrapbooking.

Jenna Frederick:  Jenna’s favorite ballets are “The Nutcracker” and “Sleeping Beauty”.  She has been dancing for 12 years and at school she is involved in cheerleading, choir and plays the flute for the concert band.  Jenna plans on pursuing her dancing in the future and hope to become a professional dancer with the Cincinnati Ballet.

Akaicia Gerken:  Akaicia thoroughly enjoyed being a Gingerspice Girl in last year’s “Nutcracker”, but her favorite ballets are “Swan Lake” and “Aladdin”.  She has participated in several Summer Intensives and aspires to become a professional ballerina.  She has been dancing for 12 years.

Emily Hostetler:  Emily loves ballet because it builds self-esteem and helps to maintain a healthy body.  She has been dancing for 10 years and her favorite role is Gingerspice Girl.  In addition to her dancing Emily is involved in Dance Team and enjoys Journalism. Her favorite ballets are “The Nutcracker” and “Swan Lake”.

Hannah Meyers:  Hannah has been dancing for 9 years and loves the ballet “Cinderella”.  She has attended Summer Intensives at Ballet Theatre of Toledo, Lexington Ballet and Cassandra’s School of Ballet.  Hannah also participates in her High School’s Women’s Chorus, Drama Club and is a Cheerleader. 

Amy MacMillan:  Amy’s favorite ballet is “The Nutcracker” and she loves dancing the roles of a Snowflake and Flower.   She has been dancing for 16 years and plans to pursue dancing in college and then on to a professional career.  In addition to ballet, Amy enjoys jazz, tap and other contemporary forms of dance.
