NutcrackerSELL-OUT is the word for Ballet Theatre of Toledo’s 2008 Nutcracker. Every performance was sold-out. Not a seat to be had. Ballet Theatre of Toledo toured again in 2008, dancing two performances of the Nutcracker, choreographed by Nigel Burgoine, in Maumee, OH, accompanied by the Ballet Theatre of Toledo Orchestra and then in Batesville, IN.

Appalachian SpringNigel Burgoine choreographed and produced an unforgettable performance of Appalachian Spring on June 5th and 6th, 2009. Performed at the beautifully restored Trinity Church in downtown Toledo, with music by the SonoNovo Chamber Ensemble, it was local ballet at its best – colorful and fun, exciting and uplifting.
